COMPANY PROFILE
Kobelco Millcon Steel Co., Ltd. (KMS) was established in 2016 as the JV between Kobe Steel, LTD. (KSL) and Millcon Steel, Thailand to meet the demand of high quality special steel wire rods purposely for automotive parts manufactured in Thailand. KMS could contribute to strengthen automotive industry for the cost, quality, delivery and competitiveness as a whole as compared to other steel makers.
Furthermore the available production capacity will be utilized to supply ordinary steel wire rods for general downstream industry as well.
KMS has adopted state of the art technology of facilities and valuable operating technology from KSL, major leader in this kind of special steel wire rods in Japan, to assure that quality of KMS products can meet same level as products produced in KSL Japan.
